Why shingle debris is different

Asphalt shingles are dense. A tear-off pile that looks modest on the ground can be a serious load, and a container that is only partly full by volume may already be at its hauling weight limit. Cleanup after a tear-off

Nails are the lingering problem after any roofing job. Tarp the ground before the tear starts, sweep with a magnet afterward, and check the driveway and lawn edges where debris tends to bounce. If the container was placed on grass or gravel, walk that area specifically once it is picked up.
